Hailing from Minnesota, USA, the Bemidji State University Choir, directed by Dr Bradley P Logan, has gained an international reputation for excellence having represented the United States of America five times at the international choral festival, The Europa Cantat and performed in prestigious venues such as St Paul’s Cathedral in London, St Nicholas Church in Prague and St Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. The choir is returning to Europe in 2014 and will perform a spectacular concert in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin at 8.00pm on Wednesday 21st May with special guests Cantóirí Choir. The concert at St Patrick’s Cathedral will be in aid of The Peter McVerry Trust, a charity set up by Fr Peter McVerry in 1974 to reduce homelessness and the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage.
